Do you feel there is too much comedy in this film?

A criticism that has been thrown at this movie

It has alot more than Raiders which is fairly serious in comparison, then Doom had quite abit , but Crusade pups it to borderline comedy (which continued in Skull)

It's well timed, and fits the film, for me. Love seeing Sean "Big Tam" Connery jovially back and forth with Ford, quality banter.

No. I think the humor worked plus I think they had to make it lighter in tone since Temple of Doom had the dark scene of of a guy pulling out another guy's heart and also had the dark premise of Child slavery.

I think the comedy was slightly overdone. Spielberg did his best. He proved he could do a commendable comedy angle, moreso than Scorsese.

Other funny movies jar much more. The Lethal Weapon franchise comes to mind.

No because I loved the humor of the film and enjoyed the bantering between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery.

No, the banter between Connery and Ford is superb, and the physical stuff is often very funny. It's the comedy in Temple Of Doom I can't stand. For two reasons, first it dealt with child slavery and voodoo so i found the slapstick comedy jarring when it was dealing with probably the darkest stuff in the franchise. Second, it's very basic stuff like Willie constantly screaming or the Short Round doing martial arts on the henchmen.

There's some well done comedy in Last Crusade, like the ricochet to the tank driver's forehead, and the rotating fireplace which is brilliantly timed where Connery's desperately trying to get through it without been seen while Ford's fighting on the other side.
