Why The Last Crusade Is The Best Indiana Jones Film

for me TLC will always be tied to kicking off that awesome summer of 89, following with Batman & Star Trek V (i liked it), also the wanting to see the new Bond (couldnt see it as was 15 which Batman very nearly was) and the Lethal Weapon 2 trailer playing in front of every movie i saw, (then later winter it was BTTF2 and GB2)

It’s really close. If it had been 1st, it could be considered the best.

It’s biggest flaw was the over use of early green screening technology that does not hold up.

Raiders blew people minds when it came out. It’s a flawless film. It was groundbreaking. Like Star Wars. For that, those films are in the top films of all time.

Agree, it's hard to pick a sequel as the best when the first film did all the groundbreaking and character development.

I put them equal based on the likelihood of whether I'll watch it when it comes across the channel guide. I'll watch either when they're on and enjoy them the same. Doom is close behind but not as good IMO.

Raiders is a masterpiece, but I enjoy both, and Crusades, slightly more. The jokes are good plus there is Connery in shipshape form. The action was better even if the effects suffered.
