My favourite thing about Indiana Jones is...
"IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM"
I love the movies for so many reasons, but this always makes me laugh.

Too bad River Phoenix is still dead and can't see your comment!
shareReally? I wanted to punch River Phoenix in the face the minute he said that. Not only is the line stupid and completely contradicts what Indy said at the end of Temple but that was probably the worst acting I have ever heard.
"I really wish Gia and Claire had became Tanner" - Honeybeefine
Why would it matter that what Indy said as a teenager contradicts something he would later say while in his 40s?
At any rate, there are two instances of "it belongs in a museum" in this film. The other is delivered by Harrison Ford, to the man with the Panama hat on the cargo ship.
"This is the second time I've had to reclaim my property from you."
"It belongs in a museum!"
"So do you!"
And that's the bit which might be considered inconsistent. Because as we later find out, Indy has been looking for that cross all his life, which means he was looking for it in the time frame of Temple as well.
The worst bit of acting you've ever heard? So then you've only seen like four movies in your entire life right?
