I saw this when I was 9 or 10 years old (93/94) and is still the only movie that still scares me.

I dont know why it has such a low score here. The guy who plays Jenke is brilliant.

I don't think this film is awesome, but neither do I think it's terrible. "House 3" is just a decent horror movie. I never understood all the vitriol directed towards it, so it's nice to read of someone who really likes it.

I liked it as well. WAY more than the 4th, but less than the 2nd. Although nothing compares to the original obviously...

I think Shocker was much better & scarier than this cheap rip off.

Also, this is the weakest among House films!

I don't know man, Shocker is okay, but I gotta say I liked The Horror Show a lot more.

And about it being a rip-off of Shocker, as obvious as that might seem at first, The Horror Show actually came out like six months earlier.
I guess it's still possible, but not quite as likely. It's also possible that Craven actually ripped off this movie... but I doubt it. Their similarities, to me at least, seem just as much like a coincidence.
