When the kids get in to it. It has only two holes, but in the back it looked like the one that had four holes.

I would have to rewatch it, but maybe the ground was higher on the hole end

Not a goof. Check an actual lego piece and you'll see.

there is one hole in the back per every 2X2 area. and they can overlap. so a 2x3 has 2 holes and a 2x4 has 3 holes
