Diane Szalinski passed away of breast cancer.
she was one of my favorite moms of the movies.
Tragic loss indeed. RIP

Marcia Strassman passed away on October 24, 2014. In March 2007 Strassman was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer that had spread to her bones. She was 66 years old and is survived by her sister Julie, her brother Steven and her daughter, Elizabeth Collector.
shareThis is the first that I have heard about her death. Oh my god! I adored this lady. She had such a charm to her. This is really sad. It's even sadder that her death is not as well acknowledged as other celebrities. I never heard a peep about this. Man, this has really bummed me out. Going to have to watch a movie with her in it.
shareI know exactly what you mean. It seems the media does not pay much attention to the passing of a celebrity unless the person was super famous and/or it was associated with a scandal. I was very sad when Beverly Sills passed away in 2007. And I couldn't believe I didn't find out until weeks later. I thought her passing would have been a major news story.
