No dust mites?
As tiny as the group was wouldn't they have been swarmed by these things?
How big are dust mites? if there as big as ants then I can see the use for them in the film

They're smaller than ants but there's a ton more of them and they're everywhere that there's dust. Doesn't make sense that they weren't in the movie.

they had more kids two were going to be twins and proably it would be too much information you know but it would have been nice
