Its no masterpiece but its by no means a bad movie, its a fun Disney flick that kids grew up with. How is a 6.2 even possible for a movie like this? Seems a tad weird to me that it has such a low score. It's better than the Goonies in my opinion(a movie I've never understood the love for). This need to be higher. Much higher

Even the highest rated movies ever are around a 9 here, so there ya go. In theory they should be 10's, otherwise it's more of a scale of 1-9, not 0-10. I think the low rating is due to people who didn't grow up with it looking at it now and thinking it's silly, which of course it is. But it has that free flowing, goofy 80s/90s vibe to it that you just don't see anymore, for better or worse...
shareYeah. I was also surprised when I came on here years ago and saw what this and other childhood favorites got on here. It is kind of weird. I have never met a person who hates this or any of my childhood favorites like the people on here do.

Yeah, it's a fun film, doesn't pretend to be Citizen Kane or anything. I can't really see what there is to dislike about this film, it's very inoffensive.
