One ant
Only one ant in their entire yard? And I'm sure those kids would have been eaten by the ant.

shareYeah the one ant thing was kind of silly. But I don't think it would've eaten them had this been a real occurrence. It could probably sense that they were still human and ants are terrified of us spray wielding, magnifying glass giants.
sharelol Ants aren't terrified of us. Put your hand near an ant or a group of ants and they will crawl right on you.
shareBlack ants will but red ants tend to be more shy. When I was little I could easily catch a black ant and they would crawl on you, but if you even get near a red ant they will scurry away at lightening speed.
shareThat appeared to be a RED ant, red ants generally work alone. Black ants are always in swarms.
shareThat oatmeal pie only had one ant on it. No way. Thing would have been covered in ants.
shareI think realistically it would have been covered with black ants, black ants loves sweets, where as red ants not so much, I think they eat other insects and things, but realistically, there would have been a LOT of insects in the yard the kids would have encountered.
shareYeah those kids would have been eaten alive by a colony of ants.
