Honey i MURDERED OUR CHILDREN!

One thing i always wondered about was what would have happened if Wayne never did find the kids?

What kind of legal trouble would he have landed himself in? His wife would have divorced him, the neighbours would have gotten him charged with manslaughter, he would have been charged with criminal negligence resulting in the death of a child to say the least!

plus there was that broken window! he couldnt blame it on the kids anymore and gotten them to pay for it with their allowance, BECAUSE THEY ARE DEAD!

its pretty funny cause it would have been insane to explain this to the cops. If the machine wasnt working, how would you convince them that they were shrunk when it accidently went off and then they lost the kids in the house forever. At least he would be able to go to an institution rather than a penitentiary. He was already borderline crazy, this story would just have been icing.

"Hello officer, my children died of thirst because it took them 3 days to get from the attic to the kitchen, i think, we didnt find them until i cleaned the bottom of my shoes."

This post made me laugh.

I was kind of wondering the same thing when I was watching this the other day on television...

There would be no criminal charges. Imagine trying to connince the jury that this machine that does not work (he didnt knew it was the baseball that made it work) actaully magically worked on its own on the kids when noone was around. what kind of jury in their right mind would believe such a claim? all he have to do is deny it and he would avoid all legal charges.
sure he would loose the marriage, and his children would be perma-missing presumed dead. but its nt like he would be jailed or anything.

The mob would love to have that machine to easily get rid of enemies.
