OMG. Lead character is so horrible. I cheered when....

I re-watched this movie recently. As an adult. I remember seeing it in childhood and always thinking this is some fun buddy road-movie. Whoopie Goldberg comedy.

But Oh My God! I hated her character. She is such a psychopath. She was shooting all those poor cashiers for absolutely no reason. And then feeling no remorse at all. I cheered when that last elderly cashier shoot her and killed. That's what she deserved. She will never shoot another innocent person again.

Why did writers mad her that way? It's ok, I get it, if she would rob gas stations because she needed money. But why shoot people?

I was low-key sure that she will kill Homers parents in cold blood if they would be home when they came. She would shoot them like it's nothing and then move to fridge to get beer and then walk around house, enjoying furniture. Then jumping to her car and go to eat pizza.
