@ massy10002001, I did not really appreciate it at the time, but I watched the movie again this morning. Redd Foxx's and Della Reese's comedic timing was perfect! At some points in the movie, I coulf tell Eddie Murphy was genuinely laughing at them and not acting. They were really hilarious!

The opening scene in the room where they're playing craps. Plus gotta love it when the scene holds the record for curse words. It was something like 87 curse words in 5 minutes.

my favorite scene was when Quick was hiding out in Redd Foxx's town house and Della Reese was making the sandwhich. Man, from the size of the bread on I was laughing my butt off. Especially with the bird in the back ground going..."Fat B*tch, Fat B*tch". Man that had to be the funniest scene ever!

I friggin' LOVE this movie!! The best scene is when Tommy's brother and his partners are chasing Quick trying to kill him, and Tommy's Brother (Arsenio Hall) is crying (like bawling) while cussin' out Quick. That, and when the gang (Hall, Miguel A. Núñez Jr., and someone else)is shooting at Quick through the window, and everytime after Hall and Núñez spray bullets with their machine guns, the other guy shoot off one round from his rinky-dink handgun!! Those are the best scences and the best sequence in the whole movie!

Ha Ha,

One of my favorite classic black movies ever.

I like the scene with Quick and Vera Beefin on the alley

That Crying baby Arcenio Hall crusin with his crew to get Quick for shootin his brother "Smalls", accidentally shot a passenger after hit the back of Quicks Car, tries to kill quick with his 45 rifle and little migit man take a shot with his little bb gun. Freakin hilarious!!!!!

I agree with that about Smalls' brothers and the guy shooting the little pistol. At first I was like "What the *beep* is he doing?" Then when they said that in the movie, I fell off the couch laughing.

Della Reese and Redd Foxx arguing always cracked me up. Like at the end when they're leaving Harlem and Bennie says "I'm gonna take one last look." then Vera's all "Don't waste your time you blind mother****er." then he's all "I'mma kick your ass, you keep talking to me like that. People'll think you my woman."

I could listen to those two screaming "You blind mother****er." and "You fat *****." all day.

It's a shame P. Diddy had to rip off that ally fight seen is his music video, which I had seen prior to seeing this movie, which spoiled the fight seen for me. My favorite part is when Della Reese is talking about her best chic and how if you threw her pussy in the air it would turn into sunshine, and then Redd Foxx is just stairing up in the air with a big smile as if he can just see it.
