THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED...I AM VERY MUCH ENJOYING IT THOUGH...I EXPECTED SILLY 80'S SKATING SHENANIGANS...THIS IS A REAL MOVIE...ABOUT A MURDER AND CROOKED BUSNIESS AND COVER-UPS...WITH SKATER SLATER DEAD CENTER...PRETTY COOL.
shareI watched this film a couple of times in the 90's, but didn't know the name and nobody I knew knew of the film, so it became an old memory/myth in my mind -- that I was mistaking it for another movie. It wasn't until another 10-15 years later that I found the film again.
It's still pretty rad!

My dvd of Mannequin was stolen during one of the times my house was broken into. I never replaced it, and I've regretted it. You now have me wanting to do check out thrift stores.

Oooh. Nice. The only one I used to see when I was looking for Pump Up the Volume was with Bed of Roses. I finally found Pump at a second hand store so that made me happy. Then they finally released it on Bluray.
My friend got it signed for me at a comic con thingy, and at the time, Slater was like, I've never been able to find this on dvd.
I wonder if slater has a VHS closet like some other actors do? He had to have one after cuffs

shareI have seen it. It's pretty bad. Like really bad. I think just watching some other movies recently from the time period it popped into my head. I honestly think that if I started watching it, I probably wouldn't finish it, but the urge is there. I found a place where it's streaming in Canada, so who knows if I'll actually subject myself to it.
