Is that a custom design when Brian goes after the baddies?

Hi all,

I've wondered for years...the skateboard that Yabbo makes for Brian towards the movies end..was that graphic ever someones signature? What was the top grips called, I haven't ever seen those before or since...they looked like the steps to a park slide to be honest.

I think the graphic was custom. I dunno what that metal stuff was on the board, but it must have made it pretty damn heavy

In Tony Hawk's autobiography he talks about working on the film quite a bit, he got a replica of that board given to him (i think all the pro's in the film did) as a thank you for doing the film.

When i was a kid i wanted that board so damn bad hahaha, i havn't seen the movie in a long time and i havn't ridden a skateboard since i was a kid, but i bet if i saw it again i would still want it. One part that i really thought was awesome was how his friend lived in like a sewer pipe in his front yard! that woudl be so awesome!

its diamond plating on the board. thatd be impossible to actually try and skate.. i think. but it looks sweet!

the was a prototype graphic for the "big time Hawk" that came out in 89-90.
