i've been looking around for it and it's listed at $30 all over. even on ebay and amazon. why?

shareI don't know either. I just thought of this movie tonight and thought I'd look it up. Best buy doesn't even carry it. It's $33 on Amazon? Kickboxer had prices like this for a year or 2 also and now you can get it for cheap. Hopefully this will do the same. I'm not gonna pay this kinda money for a dvd.

I bought this move at best buy around 2000-2001 at Best Buy (12.99 -14.99 movie at the time).
They are selling two different versions used throughb Amazon

Looks like the first one is the cardboard style dvd with plastic flip latch lid and also has extra text on the cover. Is this a first printing?
The second is the one I have. Standard dvd w/ plastic covering for the cover. It has the Chapter index insert included.
Is there any other differences between the two? The first one sells anywhere from 49.99-199.99 used. The second sells for at least 19.99 used.

shareJust like Fletch, this one is out of print so finding it is a little more difficult. So they sellit at a premium. But it is a good movie, I am not sure it is a film you need to own or anything but oh well.
shareJust record it off MGM man, cost a few bucks and as good as any retail VHS out there. I'll even speculate that the DVD isn't that much better quality.
shareBecause it is out of print and not easy to find new. It's a lot less expensive to buy a used copy of the movie. That's what I did. I'd recommend checking out ebay.
