The shopping center/mall where Marty & Doc are testing out the delorean looks almost identical to the one in this movie.

Back to the future is the Old Town Mall in Torrance, CA. Can't remember the mall in GTC off the top of my head to compare it...

The mall in Back to the Future was not filmed in torrance. It was filmed at the Puente Hills Mall. I watched them film those scenes when I was a kid.

I also heard it was Puente Hills Mall that was used for "Twin Pines (Lone Pine) Mall". But I live in Torrance, so I'll check out the Old Town Mall for any similarities.

The Mall from Back to the Future was the Twin Pines Mall in The City of Industry, and the Mall in Gleaming the Cube was called "The City Mall", but its been since torn down, and they built an open air Shopping Mall called "The Block at Orange".

I worked at the city shopping center back then, I didn't know they shot there. I wish they would release this so I could check it out!!
