When was the first itme you gleamed your cube?

Sorry, but my brother and I used to use that reference after seeing this on t.v. for the first time 10 years or so back. Christian Slater really gleamed the cube in this one. I love the 80's and I always wonder would River Phoenix's career have ended up like Christian Slater's if he hadn't speedballed? Could he have grown out of that teen star phase, maybe gotten his brothers parts?

Also what's the name of the film Slater is in with Marissa Tomei and he has a heart problem?
