Almost 50% of us voted for you in the last election.

So which Ghostbuster do you think voted for the mayor? It's a tough call, but I would learn toward Winston since he was the one to smile and try to shake the mayor's hand when he came in the room, like he was actually happy to meet him. I doubt the other three really liked the mayor too much, especially after they got sued into bankruptcy by the city and all three had a stake in the business while Winston was just hired on as an employee. What do you think?

It's such an underrated line though. Ray says it so happily and spins it like it's a compliment, but it's really kind of a mean thing to say.

Either Ray or Winston. I lean toward Winston because he actually held out his hand to the mayor in the movie. Plus like you said, plus Winston is the white collar guy, more down to Earth. He would seem like the guy who care about politics and the people who are in charge and he is THE only one if I remember to say Mr. Mayor then LENNY Big Man. Or look genuine happy when the mayor came in

OP, very underrated line indeed!

I liked that part when the mayor kind of acts like he can't stand them, they're wasting his time, but deep down you can tell he does like the Ghostbusters. Ever see those movies where cops or students get treated like garbage or called out by their superiors? But you also get that sense well they kind of have some shred of credibility with them too?

That's what I get from this scene.

Agreed! It's a great line.

I would imagine Ray was referring to himself.
