How many of you thought in 1989 the world will end Feb 14th, 2016?

who did you believe, the first guest or the second guest?

reply

Well I did sort of lean toward the first guest since the way the scene was done, it's meant to foreshadow the events of the movie. Plus, at the time, 2016 seemed too far away to seem real, lol.

Before the end of February 2016, when the trailer for Ghostbusters reboot is scheduled to drop - the end of the Ghostbusters world?

This is kinda what Feig meant by dramatic. ;)

LOL, I didn't actually think the world would end simply because it's a movie but, the date always stuck out in my mind.

This is simply one of the reasons why I love the sequel. Too bad it gets so much flack because they had made it too "kid-friendly" at the time.

We didn't get proper hoverboards or Jaws 19 last November, and so far the world hasn't ended, and in the UK it's only six more hours until February 14 2016.

Why do the movies lie to us? WHY!!!!

I think the second guest could have made for an interesting third movie...
