Wonder why I never questioned this before. But who sends Susie the roses? I kinda thought it was the person who offered her the job that she left the Baker boys for. But the guy at the desk says (in a mumbling, incomprehensible way) that it was someone "with the ______ convention" - does this mean it was one of Susie's old dates?
Or maybe its just supposed to be a sign for the audience that people are into her.
The cat food guy sends the roses. She says there's no card with the roses, and the clerk says something briefly. The guy she ends up quitting the show to sing commercials for, at the end doing vegetable jingles.

"... peas, carrots ... but none of the imporant ones"
just a toss off line during their talk
there on the stairs but it's stuck with me for some reason
