Funniest scenes?

What does everyone think were the best scenes? For me it was Halfdan the Black conducting business ("Look, I'm not an unreasonable man but this IS the second chance that I've given you...will you behead him please?"). That is classic John Cleese. I also like the Japanese slavemaster ("How I abominate your milk drinking and your failure to eat your lunch out of little boxes!"). That was probably the most Python-y scene. Also I love Ulf the Maddeningly Calm preaching to his son, Sven the Berserk ("I KNOW! I'VE HEARD IT ALL A THOUSAND TIIIIMES! AAAARRGH!").

I love the invisibility cloak scene is wonderfully funny. Also the island sinking, and the people being all calm like nothing is happening is very funny. Oh, and when he goes to blow the trumpet but has no mouthpiece... I crack up every time (yes, I've seen this more than once...many many times)

Worst scenes: the long ending sequence, and the children. Just horrible (I've only seen this a few times more than once...as I just can't stand it...this is a movie that would have been better with no ending. They should have done a Holy Grail type thing and cut it off with police or something).

Ivar: How can you help feeling bad when you're sea-sick?
Throfinn: I mean many of the greatest sailors were.
Ivar: I know. I know.
Throfinn: Olaf Tryggvason used to throw up on every single voyage... the whole time... non-stop... puke... puke... puke.
Ivar: Look! I don't feel BAD about it. I just feel ILL.
Throfinn: He used to puke in his sleep.
Ivar: Bastard.

Funniest thing in the movie to me by far. The way Thorfinn is just so nonchalantly torturing poor Ivar, without having to even put any effort into it.

Ulf, seeing his father: Dad!
Keital: How can you tell?
Ulf: I'll never forget him. The BASTARD! He drove me MAD! All his "you'll never be a Berserk if you lose your temper"...

The scene of Erik righting the men aboard Half dan the blacks ship, half dan says, haven't you seen anyone fight before. No they say, their usually too scared of us. Is one of my favs. Bearing in mind Erik though he was invisible at the time. But yes the puking scene is certainly one of the best.

When Thorfen feels fear for the first time faced with Halfdan's ship
Or when the village women don't want the blacksmith to leave (can't say I blame them)

That whole "rape" scene cracks me up. Especially when he says "Scream!" and she opens her mouth and says "Ahh."

Oh Let's see I love the first seen when Erik invades the house and he ends up falling in w/ and the part where she asks him if HE LIKES women and he says OF COURSE

next the invisiable cloak and his taunting now you see me now you don't and then how he has to reasign every seat on the boat

and the muiscal seen tom tee tom tom, Erik was deffinately very pleasent about the whole mess and then tried to cheer them up

5 year old thread, but what the hell.

My favorite part was Erik futiley rearranging everybody's seating arrangements on the boat to make them all happy.
Then he's informed he has all the big ones on one side, so he must rearrange them again.
Then Snorri tells him he has all the men with beards on one side and all the mustaches on the other, followed by several moments while Erik and everybody look around to check.

"That doesn't matter!"
