Did anyone notice Philip Michael Thomas, star of the hit TV series MIAMI VICE,
in a walk-on uncredited cameo in the Deca-Dance scene? He is dressed as his character, Rico Tubbs, and takes off a blue sequined dinner jacket, and hands it to Jeff Goldblum, who puts it on and goes out to the patio to serenade Val (Geena Davis) doing his comic impression of Jerry Lewis as Buddy Love in Lewis' movie
