I know it was written long ago, but i'm still goin' to answer.

Of course, these are references, this film being a satyre, its beginning particularly a satyre on gangster films.

Anyway, this film's really good for nationals, for others it's ok. (Maybe i'm mistaken, though, and it can be understood by everybody, i can't really judge.)

There was also Koppola (Francis Ford Coppola) and (Al) Pacino. Perhaps even (Michael) Cimino, although I don't really think he went into gangster movies, unlike all the other names.
