Is this the only 'TV Movie of the Week' to win Best Picture?
Pretty underwhelming for a BP I must say. Apart from the performances of the 2 leads, it wasn't particularly special, and I figured it might have had a stronger racial element to it given the characters, the location and the time it was set. That barely featured, which is a shame because I feel this would have added another interesting dimension. The jumps in the passage of time caught me off guard too. It's like the only way you could tell was through Dan Aykroyd getting balder and Morgan Freeman's glasses getting thicker.
