How are the movies connected.

According to imdb the cyborg and nemesis films take place in the same universe. I've watched both and their was nothing story wise i saw connecting the two films together. Here's the list of films in order. (not counting the home movie piece of shit that is Nemesis 5).

Nemesis
Knights
Cyborg 2: Glass Shadow
Cyborg 3: The Recycler
Nemesis 2: Nebula
Nemesis 3: Time Lapse
Omega Doom
Nemesis 4: Death Angel

Maybe they take place at different times in the same universe.

I love that Cyborg 2 was obviously meant to be an unrelated movie but they inserted a two second clip of Van Damme to justify calling it a sequel. It’s even funnier that Cyborg 3 follows the story of Cyborg 2, making the first and most well-known entry of the “franchise” kind of pointless n a narrative sense.

As for Nemesis, I have no idea. It might be something akin to Blade Runner and Soldier being tangibly related.
