Flat out: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to, rent it. But NEVER buy it. Click on Albert Pyun, the hack director of all directors of all time, and check out the list of incredibly horrible and schlock films that this pretender to directing has schlockmeistered out of his non-imagination.

Horrible directing, horrible acting, horrible scripts and dialogue and non-plots, horrible production values, particularly horrible costumes, etc., etc., etc.

Don't ever buy it (especially at the price of 23.95 euros); when, if you check the comments for his "films", you will find that anyone who actually did buy a copy of his horrendous films, actually bought them in a bargain bin for 3 euros or 2.99 US dollars or even 99 cents American.

ALL of his films are Bargain Bin Garbage ONLY!!!

Be careful! You don't want to be embarrassed by owning this. Probably Jean-Claude Van Damme made you think about buying this, but beware! Don't buy it. Especially at the Full Price of 23.95 euros. Don't even buy it at 3 euros. Maybe rent it, so that you can get rid of it immediately afterwards. But don't humiliate yourself by letting your friends know that you paid Full Price for an Albert Pyun Horrendous Film.

A bit sore and biased? Indeed.

Seems like you have a grudge towards the director? He have fun with your wife on-set or something?

Buy the DVD, but you can get it alot cheaper!

Yeah, shop around. I found Cyborg for 15euros. I haven't bought it yet though on the basis that it's crap, though I suspect that I will in the near future. There are far better Van Damme DVDs available. The excellent Kickboxer can be found in your local HMV for around 6euro. I was even able to find a Van Damme DVD triple pack consisting of Maximum Risk, Double Team, and Nowhere to Run for 20euros. Van Damme is a very undervalued star. Use this to your advantage.

I agree with john4films. About 4 years back I made the mistake of buying this on DVD. I usually find Van Damme's movies entertaining and this I hadn't seen. It was on a weekend when my internet connection had gone down so I bought a few movies on DVD to watch in the evenings. Needless to say, I was extremely dissapointed by this. It was only after doing some research that I found out it was by the same director as "Blast", one of the worst movies I'd ever seen. While it is one of his better efforts, it's still very poor. Just a bunch of fight scenes thrown together with no buildup, cheap sets, characters in ragged clothes running around ruined buildings and open land in North Carolina which doesn't feel like a post apocalyptic world at all. I have since avoided any of Albert Pyun's movies unless I get to see them for free. So, in my books it's most certainly not worth spending anything on. If you really must see it, VHS copies are available very cheaply online.

And yes, Albert Pyun is one of the worst directors in B-movie land.

I bought this DVD for £5.99 in HMV. I have to admitt its not exactly the best movie Ive ever seen. Plenty guts and blood but thats about it. I think the best scene or image is where Van-Damme and Fender are squaring up to each other in the final scene its quite cool. Fender reminds me of a fighter you would see in Mortal Kombat or something.

i think that that many euro equal roughly $30 us. w/ that in mind i would not buy it. i would pay $5-10 dollars for it but paying the same for "cyborg" as you would for the new "raging bull" dvd is insane.

The movie can be very entertaining if you like goofy trash movies or some kind of guilty pleasure(And this is arguably Albert Pyun's best...which isn't really a compliment at all). If your looking for a movie you can enjoy on serious level then look elsewhere.
