one nite me and a buddy were pretty fcked up and this movie was on. i forgot how funny the bad guy was at the end. man his roaring had us howling, good post
shareThe way his final roar chokes out almost makes me wonder whether Fender is also somehow a cyborg. I know he probably he probably isn't, but the ending of his death throes sounded like a machine turning off.
You vote for pizza and a movie, they vote to rape you with switchblades. That's voting.
The pirates communicate with grunts. That's a fact.

Funnily enough, there's actually a good deal of dialogue among the pirates in the Director's Cut edition (such as when they're on the ship, etc.). All of this is pretty much deleted in the theatrical version, but probably for a good reason -- while interesting on its own, hearing the pirates holding conversations sorta ruins their whole creepy mystique; their silence in the theatrical print helps things immensely.
shareRahhhhhh, wahhhhhhh?!
shareGIBSON: MOTHER!
FENDER: FU.KER!
As funny as that is, it's only natural he made those sounds. I mean, he was a pirate... who looked like a monster!
But I tell you, it was definitely satisfying when Van Damme finally shut him up.
Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
I was going to post something very similar, but it's not surpising at all to find a topic already covering it.
