Hi,
I'm not really keen on Van Damme's films. They're usually just plain stupid!
I rented out the DVD yesterday and was pleasently surprised that it's not a bad film atall!
Ok so it's a bit cheesy in places and some of the acting is horrendous but it captures a desolate, ruined Earth pretty well in my opinion.
I think it rates as his best film. Anyone agree?

I agree with king2be98, Van Damme has made better films than Cyborg. The legionare, Street fighter and Time cop is one of those films.

You have got to be kidding. Van Damme's best are Bloodsport, Cyborg, Universal Soldier, and Kickboxer. Everything else is utter garbage.

well i do like van dam,but some of his movies stink,U-soldier the return is a good example.
However Cyborg is one of his best,kind of like mad max but without the cars,right up there with Bloodsport
In Hell and Wake of Death are by far his best.

I also don't think that Cyborg is his best film, since he only had like 20 lines in the entire film.
I always thought Lionheart was his best overall film. But Cyborg definitely has one of the longest (if not the longest) battle scenes in any of his movies.

shareCyborg is my favorite because I feel his fight scenes were the best, more so than any other movie. Let's keep JCVD and his acting on the ground for a minute. He may take his acting seriously, and always strive to be better, but I think he has been one of the best actors ever athletic wise, and he had/has the look Hollywood has exploited.

shareOne of his worst movies that I really liked (for some strange reason) was No Retreat, No Surrender. One of his first, if not his first. He played the evil Russian martial arts master who cripples the father of a teen ager that gets trained by Bruce Lee's ghost so that he can get his revenge!!!
Otherwise, all of his early movies are good!!

This is a joke right?? I just watched this yesterday and if anything it's one of his worst. I fell asleep it was so boring, and it has little to no action. I enjoy cheap action flicks as much as anybody, but the action is *beep* in this.
Isn't this the film that put Cannon/Golan-Globus out of business?

JCVD is my all time favorite action star...
I watched Cyborg and Kickboxer so many times as a Kid I Wore out The VHS's and my mom had to retape them for me 2 times....
Cyborg is my all time favorite JCVD but it followed extremely closely by Kickboxer
