As bad as I found this film to be, mostly due to pacing and direction, I was still able to enjoy it purely because of Walkens performance. Its classic Walken and he chews it up the whole way through. I love this phase of Walkens career where he was really taking on some interesting projects like this and Brainstorm and The Dead Zone.

I love Walken, and I love Streiber. I HATED Walken as Streiber. I've met Whitley Streiber and he's a very normal man, absolutely NOTHING like Chris Walken hammed him up to be.
