I thought she looked particularly good in this movie. Perhaps it was the long hair; sometime after this movie was made she started going with MUCH shorter hair. (See HOUSE OF GAMES and THE ARRIVAL).
True, you can see some dark roots in a few of the scenes, but that seems to be true of most "blondes".
I liked her in everything I saw her in, the fact that she's not a Hollywood beauty, but rather looks like a woman one's more likely to be married to in real life, really adds to every role.

Yeah, you can see why Walken picked her in the audition. She looks like a wife and not an actress playing a wife.
Either that or Walken just had good taste and picked his favourite one knowing he would make out with her in the movie ;)
She looked especially nice with her hair in a knot, glasses and those jeans overalls in the scene with Walken in his work room!
