This was my favorite movie as a kid growing up.
It is just the sweetest, most wonderful and hilarious story.

Agreed. I watched this movie as a wee nipper and thought it was great. Sounds sad, but I don't want to see it again... I'm 20 years older and more cynical and I don't wanna ruin my memories of it!

I used to love this movie so much when I was little, watched it almost every single weekend!
I watched it again last year and got bored halfway through and stopped it, that was sad. Ruined what I remember as such a great movie.
