are people seriously angry because this movie depicts cruelty towards animals? i thought this movie was about friendship and survival. if you people truly need something to get angry over go watch cannibal holocaust or last house on the left. that should disgust someone way more than a cat jumping off of a "cliff"
shareAgreed. I just watched this for the first time since I was a kid, and I didn't think it was cruel at all. The Otis and the bear thing was a little bad, but I'm pretty sure they had things under control. The film had tons of animal trainers and the director was a zoologist. Obviously they weren't always in the most comfortable positions, but I think they were always safe.
