I was 11 when it came out and now I have older kids and we watch it. It is still the cutest movie without being annoyingly sweet. So many scenes tickle me, like the one where the cat is hitting the baby crow on the head...My cat would prob do the same thing. I also love the cat nursing with the pig. It is rare to have a movie you can watch from your childhood until you are old and still enjoy and your kids don't complain.

Going to Church won't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage will make you a BMW.

This is by far, my favorite animal movie too!
But a little of my childhood love (i was 7 years old when this came out) for this movie was a little bit ruined when i knew about the animal abuse in the making process...
