penn grow up as rich california surfer boy and in this movie he is pretend to be a tough irish/italia street kid from brooklyn. it not work. he is apeing de niro i think but he sounds like retard at times especially when he get angry.
it is still good film thanks to michael j foxx. he own this movie. great actor and great man.
