Not much more to add I suppose

I really don't think there is any more I can add here about this film which hasn't been already put out there, and much better, by many others. But all I can truly say is that this is the most soul-shattering and emotionally-crushing film I've ever had the awful misfortune of viewing quite honestly. The look on that poor, innocent creature's face, both before and after the rape, just haunts me to the very depths of my soul and penetrates straight into the very core of my whole entire being; it's truly that utterly horrible for me.

Even though I've read many other reviews which, as I said previously, express much of the same sentiments as mine, I still would like to know how much of a terribly traumatic film-going experience this turned out to be for anyone else on here?

Just came back here after watching Ennio Morricone on TV performing the music for this movie, which nearly brought me to tears.

This reminded me that after all those years and movies, I've never had such a gutch wrenching
experience as watching Cow. This is seriously the one movie I will probably never watch again simply because I think I cannot handle it...I can still see that poor girl on the bridge (filmed in Kanchanaburi I've been there a few times)

And it's simply because of the terrific performance of that actress she blows away all the Hollywood actors in the movie by a mile
