Or maybe it was real Vietnamese, I don't know. Every other word was DV, and dink, and *beep* and dinky dau. Although obviously it's present in other Vietnam movies, it was pretty obnoxious and over-the-top. It just seemed to be too much.

shareActually, it's not 'pseudo' Vietnamese. What you're hearing is a mixture of Vietnamese and French (a holdover from colonial days directly preceding America's involvement); and example would be "You are beaucoup dien cai dao" (pronounced boo-coo dinky-dow). The first word is French, the rest Vietnamese and loosely translates as "You are very crazy".
BTW, if a doctor takes a picture, it's a picture. You want a Radiographer (X-ray Tech) to enable you to look at someone 'from the inside' as well.
