It seems to me he really starts getting upset once he is back home and how he is treated at the VA hospital. Uncaring staff, slum-like, dilapidated hospitals under-resourced and antiquated medical equipment, all funded by the taxpayer. This would not be his experience in private hospitals.

So all you're saying is that more money can fix the problem. If Ron had a lot of money, sure a private hospital would have done better. But so would the government hospital if it had more money. It's not 'socialized' vs. 'unsocialized' medicine. It's 'properly funded' versus 'underfunded' medicine.

Every healthcare system ranked better than America's are universal healthcare systems that do it better and cheaper. America has a third world healthcare system when it comes to access.
