I am obese, would the hoverboard support my weight?
I am 5’0” tall and 301 pounds. Do you guys think the hoverboard would support my weight? I recently saw a commercial on TV that said being obese is not my fault. :(

A hoverboard has to have some force directed to below the board to generate enough lift to balance out gravity.
The heavier you are, the more power the board has to have to generate sufficient lift.
Given the size and design of the hoverboard in the movie it couldn't even lift itself off the ground, because there is nothing on the board that would generate any lift.
