Mr. Strickland's Newspaper makes no sense

Think about it; the world is in ruins, gangs run the neighbourhood, people die like flies, wild dogs roam around, trash everywhere, nothing works, school burned years ago..

..yet somehow there are clean, fresh, promptly delivered (by WHAT paperboy??), neatly folded newspapers every morning on Strickland's stairs.

WHAT?

Also, if Strickland has some kind of war going on against some gangs/groups/etc., how come his house isn't ALREADY trashed or full of bullet holes? Why would the gang even bother to do a drive-by shooting, when they could just stop and overpower this ONE MAN as a group? I don't care if he's armed, so is everyone else, they should win easily!

They should at least kill him in his sleep or something. But his house, windows, everything is completely fine, intact, etc. You only see some paint cracked due to old age, but no signs of violence or gunfights. If this is the FIRST gunfight at his porch, how come he's so prepared and treats it as if happens all the time? And if not, how come the porch even exists anymore? Nothing make sense in this travesty of a movie.

To come back to the point I was trying to make about the newspapers; what publishing place still manages to not only manufacture a newspaper, but also to SELL it to people in this kind of world? Do people living in a post-apocalyptic nightmare still buy subscriptions to gosh-darned newspapers, and WHAT NEWS could be more dramatic/devastating than pretty much ANYTHING everyone sees in their everyday life just by looking out the window?

So not only does some 'news firm' come up with news in THIS kind of world that people want to read about, but are able to create a newspaper, manufacture it safely, deliver it to the customers without ANY problems in a world where law doesn't seem to be followed at all, and get paid for it?

I don't see how ANY of this could happen in the 'alternate 1985', there's absolutely NO way in Hill (Valley) that this newspaper could not only be quietly sitting on the porch stairs, folded neatly, and exist in a situation where not only are newspapers delivered regularly and reliably, but someone actually STEALS them from Strickland for some reason (WHAT reason?)..

I am telling you, pretty much NOTHING about this movie makes any sense, the newspaper business (in more meanings than one) taking the cake.

BEWARE! Avortac4 is a troll trying to waste everyone's time with such idiotic comments. Look at his posts. He doesn't think anything in any film makes sense. His post may seem like it makes sense in the first sentence or two. But he always quickly wanders off into a completely idiotic idea, and then writes a wall of text that makes no sense. And his sole purpose is to waste your time, thinking he's cute for doing so. Don't feed the troll. If you write a comment, you're giving this troll EXACTLY what he wants. Don't comment after my comment.
