Something I just realized about Griff in cafe 80s scene

This is probably obvious to many of you but it took me 25 years or since i fist saw this movie (and numerous times since) to notice that when Marty Jr shows up at the cafe 80s, Griff notices him walking along outside which is why he bursts in after him and shouts the line "Hey Mcfly! I thought I told you to stay in here! "

All these years I somehow never noticed Griff in the backdrop spotting Marty Jr outside & always simply interpreted his indignant outburst as a comically irrational tick due to his mental instability & not that actually saw him outside of the cafee.

Seems pretty obvious looking at it now but i guess it only took me couple of decades to notice. lol!
