I know the trivia on here says L.A but any more info on this? Was it all filmed in or around L.A? Was the old house a real location? Anything on this would be helpful..!

Other than Los Angeles, the only other location listed is the nearby Malibu Pier. The house is cited as Stimson House located at 2421 S. Figueroa Street, West Adams district, Los Angeles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Stimson_House,_Los_Angeles.JPG).
