Way to take his thoughts/attention away from what's happening to him....
This woman could get an ordinary person to commit suicide just by talking to them. No wonder Coffey wanted to gag her!

My mom says the same thing whenever she watches this move. "Oh, way to cheer him up."

Lol.

Well I always just took it as her character being not good with people. As opposed to Bud who was good with people. That and the fact there wasn't much left to hide between them, they just had to face up to the horrible situation they were in.
