Why does no one ever talk about this movie anymore?

Seriously it's so underrated, it amazes me that everyone i know, no one talks about this movie and many don't even know about it.... why did this movie slip under everybody's radar?

Yeah, totally agree with you there. Sometimes you got all the right ingredients, but the starts just don't line up.

Usually it's either because the movie is released in a bad time or the studio doesn't have enough faith in the movie to give it a sufficient marketing budget. Or both.

Take The Prestige (2006) for example; Directed by Christoper Nolan, starring Christian Bale, Hugh Jackmann, Scarlett Johansson and Michael Caine and still it's not exactly a well-known movie.

This movie is simply astounding and chilling.

Maybe it's timing of a release, but I have always wondered why certain movies seem to get lost to time and history while others thrive and are on all the time. My other guess is who has the rights maybe. There was a time in the 1990's when HBO showed karate kid III nonstop for a year, but never this one. It just seems that certain movies get replayed and if a movie doesn't make that list they get lost.

Totally agree. I'm ashamed to say I just saw this for the first time, start to finish, and wow it's pretty great! I'm gonna wait a few days and watch it again, more intently. It's worth it!
