I remember Exscreamly Scary Saturday and being so surprised to see Crypty there, on a kids' programming block of all things, but it was definitely cool. I remember during the commercial breaks they recycled footage from the Crypt Keeper segments from the show and had John Kassir dub new dialogue over the footage.

Wow! Those are interesting. It's like back then, things weren't too politically correct and Crypty was allowed to be marketed towards children as well as adults. Great times.

Indeed  I'm honestly shocked he didn't make an appearance on Sesame Street back then. How hilarious that would've been.

Wowzer! That would've been hilarious and outrageous! I bet the parents would then say something if Crypty made a guest appearance on Sesame Street. Or any children's television show for that matter.

I remember the kids game show that was on CBS where they used the animatronic puppet, too. It looked like a fun show to be on.

Totally. Now, that show I kind of remember. I found a clip of it on YouTube. It's called Secrets of the Cryptkeeper's Haunted House. It was similar to Nickelodeon's show, Legends of the Hidden Temple.

It looked like a fun show to be on. Still kinda surprised they were allowed to use the live-action Crypty.

Bringing this back. Still so hilarious they had the Crypt Keeper on a kids' programming block.
