20th anniversary of "Bordello of Blood" - August 16th

Any fans here of Bordello of Blood? How has the movie held up after 20 years?

While not as good as Demon Knight, I do think the movie is better than its reputation suggests.

I remember thinking it wasn't very good and a big letdown after Demon Knight. That said it's been a long time since I last watched it and it's due for a rewatch.

I'm not a fan of BoB. I think that everything that Adler and the FX guys said about how BoB is total crap is 100% spot on.

The first time I saw BoB on home video in the year it came out, I was shocked at how bad it was. I was expecting much more.

IMO it didn't hold up at all even then. So it would equally not hold up at all now.
