Saw this on a click bait, but thought it was plausible.

Everything that happened in California, and at Bayside didn't actually happen. It was all a fantasy of Zach's. In actuality he was a middle school kid in Indiana, in Miss Bliss's class, who while he wasn't an outcast, he wasn't incredibly popular either. He had a circle of friends, even though one was Screech, and like most of us, he's trying to have his first experiences with girls, but with little to no luck. So he created this fantasy where he lives in LA, is the most popular guy in school, gets all the girls, and is great at every sport. And when he speaks to the audience, he's really narrating his own fantasy.
