This season I felt was confusing because they started out with the usual gang then Tori the new girl entered the picture while Kelly and Jessie were not in those episodes (10 to be exact). Then they got rid of Tori and brought back Kelly and Jessiie...what's confusing is that when Tori was in the picture, Zach, Screech and Lisa never mentioned Kelli and Jessie (as if they didn't exist) then when Tori left and Kelly and Jessie were back, they completely forgot about Tori too and everything was back to normal;'what gives?!?!

Kelly and Jessie were taken off the show due to being pregnant, after they gave birth and gave the children to an oversea orphanage and were allowed back on the show.

I finally found my answer. It is explained in the did you know trivia section. After the graduation episode, the network ordered new episodes so they filmed the episodes with Tori. They mixed the Tori episodes in with season 4 so they wouldn't run into any continuity issues. During this season, the audience could assume that Kelly, Jessie, Lisa and Tori were all friends with the guys but they also had different social interactions with Zack, Slater and Screech at different times during the school year...

Oh, I feel stupid, but what was the real reason for them being taken off the show and replaced by Tori?

The season was wrapped but they needed extra episodes and Tiffani and Elizabeth were not available due to pilot season so they brought in Tori as a substitute.

When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.
