how come they cancled it.

No idea. I learned a lot from this show. I wish it was still on

The show was cancelled because CBS was behind in the ratings in the 1994-1995 season, so it cancelled a bunch of its veteran shows to make room for new shows. Rescue 911 was one of the casualties.
