Ziggy?

Bellisario's ex-wife sure as hell gets a lot of credit for this series. I'm half way into season 2 and I don't remember seeing that chick play Ziggy or narrate the show a single time. The guy needs to stop letting his man parts control his financial decisions.

It's about part way through season 2 before they stop doing the voice overs by Sam at the top of the show; and for like, an episode or two, there's a male voice that does what eventually becomes the standard, "Theorizing that he could travel within his own lifetime," intro. After that, the female voice that takes over and narrates the opening of almost every episode after that, is Deborah Pratt, Bellesario's wife at the time; and a co-executive producer and writer on the series. Also, in season 2, episode 11, she played the titular Troian, in "A Prortrait for Troian." (Interestingly, Don Bellesario appears as Sam's mirror image; and "Torian" is the name of his daughter with Deborah Pratt, who appears two episodes later in, "Another Mother.")
Deborah Pratt subsequently voices Ziggy in "The Leap Back," retroactively making the opening narrator Ziggy; and ultimately leading to the change in the gender pronouns used for referring to Ziggy from male to female.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I was wondering when she'd come around.

It was Lance Legault in season two for the episode where Sam is a mother.
