It is revealed in Mr. Beans Holiday. Under the name field on his passport it says......drum roll..........Rowan. Wierd though that in the first movie it says Mr. under the name field.

On Youtube, there is this video of Mr Bean being selected for a blind date. I think it may have been a Comic Releaf Skit.
In it, the host asks Mr Bean, "What is your first name?" and he replies, "Mister".
Also, I think it is in the hospital episode, he tells the receptionist, "Bean...Mister"

Yeah, I've heard that his name is revealed to be Rowan in "Mr Bean's Holiday".. I'm not arguing it but I personally like to believe that his name is "Bean". Just "Bean". I don't know why, but I guess for me and many other fans it's just the way we prefer to remember him.
And I don't know if anyone else has said anything about that blue three-wheeled car that Mr Bean keeps bullying.. but I always thought he despised it due to the fact that it only ever had three wheels, instead of the usual four.
Have you noticed how he holds grudges against things/people that just aren't "normal"? Just let me try to find another example, it just keeps popping up in my head that he's had a bad run in with "abnormal" things and doesn't like them! It's quite hypocritical, and I mean that in the kindest possible way because it's just part of his eccentricity and.. well.. oddness. But yeah if anyone's picked up on it, pipe up! Cheers
Screw it - from now on he will be referred to as Masahiro Bean. That's right, a blatantly obvious Japanese name followed by a legume. Yeah.

In Polish version, he does have a name and it is John. The show's Polish title is not "Mr. Bean" but... "Johnny Bean", beats the hell outta me why, maybe that was supposed to refer to the fairytale of Jack and the beanstalk... ("Johnny and the bean" in Polish)
